Refund Rules

At FindYo.in, all fuel share payments are 100% direct peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions via UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM) between commuters and host drivers. FindYo.in is a technology platform and does not hold, process, or escrow user funds. Please note our direct settlement policy:

  • Direct Peer-to-Peer Settlement: Because fuel share payments are transferred directly to the driver's personal UPI handle, any refund request or cancellation adjustment must be settled directly between the commuter and host.
  • Host Cancellation / No-Show: If a host driver cancels a trip or fails to arrive at the pickup spot, the host must refund the fuel share directly to the commuter via UPI.
  • Commuter Advance Cancellation: Commuters cancelling in advance must notify the host driver to request a direct UPI refund.
  • Legal Platform Disclaimer: FindYo.in is not a payment processor, bank, or escrow service, and is legally disclaimed from financial disputes between users. Users can report policy violations to platform moderation.

Fair Commute Cancellation Policy

To ensure high reliability across Bangalore tech corridors, our community operates on mutual punctuality:

  • 5-Minute Grace Window: Commuters and drivers are expected to arrive at the designated 2.0 km pickup point within 5 minutes of scheduled time.
  • Direct UPI P2P Rides: For direct P2P UPI rides where payment is made directly inside the car upon 4-digit PIN verification, no advance charge is made, hence no refund is needed.
  • Reliability Score: Frequent cancellations by hosts or riders lower their Community Reliability Score and may restrict booking privileges.
